Having a mental illness can be very difficult. It is estimated that around 20% of Australian's are affected every year. There are different types of mental illnesses that range from mild to severe and debilitating. Living with a mental illness can make day-to-day life hard and not only does it affect the person with the illness but it impacts on their friends and family. If you think someone you know has a mental illness or you are concerned for their mental health please see a professional, a doctor, counselor or trusted loved one.
